The pE-SUMO3pro vector is for the expression of recombinant SUMO3 fusion proteins (containing an N-terminal His6 tag) in E. coli. Production of your protein of interest (POI) is driven through the powerful T7 RNA polymerase-promoter system, with ampicillin resistance facilitating plasmid selection and stability.

SUMO3 fusion can dramatically enhance expression, solubility and stability of recombinant proteins
Fusion with SUMO3 has been shown to protect host systems from the over expression of potentially toxic POIs
The SUMOpro system has been demonstrated to protect peptides from degradation
Purification of His6-SUMO3 fusion proteins is easily accomplished through immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC)
High fidelity cleavage of SUMO3 by SUMO protease 2 yields native protein with a desired N-terminus (except proline)

Storage/stability: Store at -20°C or below. Stable for one year under these conditions
After purification, SUMO protease 2 is required for efficient removal of the His6-SUMO3 fusion tag from your POI with any desired N-terminus (with the exception of proline).
